Barrage Pool Rules:

First, second, and third teams of Pools A & B qualify directly into the quarterfinals. Barrage 1° will be between the first classified team of Pool C and the second classified team of Pool D. Barrage 2° will be between the first classified team of Pool D and the second classified team of Pool C. There will then be two more barrages between the last classified team of Pool B vs the winner of Barrage 1° and the the last classified team of Pool A vs the winner of Barrage 2°.

The losers of games 19 and 21 and the team ranked 3rd in Pool C will then form Pool E. The losers of games 20 and 22 and the team ranked 3rd in Pool D will then form Pool F.
